Your access depends on whether you are affiliated with AAU or not.

If you are an employee or student and log in (with your AAU-Username), you can view and download the following types of projects:

• Master theses
• Professional bachelor's projects
• Master projects (continuing education - EVU)
• Bachelor projects
• Semester projects

External visitors or users who do not log in with AAU-Username can view and download the following types of projects:

• Master theses
• Professional bachelor's projects
• Master projects (continuing education - EVU)

Projects marked as confidential by the student(s) at the time of submission are not available on AAU Student Projects – neither for users affiliated with AAU nor for external visitors.

On the front page of AAU Student Projects, you can view and select from a list of active study programmes under the different departments.

Alternatively, you can select a programme in the "Education" facet in continuation of a search in AAU Student Projects. Here it is also possible to choose between study programmes that are no longer active.

Projects become available immediately after the exam. However, we must first load the projects into AAU Student Projects, which typically happens once a day. Only passed projects are shown on AAU Student Projects.

Please contact vbn@aub.aau.dk if you are a current or former AAU student and wish to have your project removed from AAU Student Projects.

The source of the projects is the Pure system at AAU. Projects are automatically added to Pure via an integration with Digital Exam. All projects that are not marked as confidential by the student in Digital Exam are displayed in AAU Student Projects.

We cannot manually add projects to AAU Student Projects, but we can change confidential projects to non-confidential to make the project accessible.

Write to vbn@aub.aau.dk if you want to change a confidential project to non-confidential. Please note that we need documentation and acceptance from any other authors on the project.

Attachment files are not available on AAU Student Projects. Generally, attachments cannot be retrieved, but under certain circumstances it is possible. Write to vbn@aub.aau.dk if you are interested in a specific attachment file.

On some projects, only the description of the project is available. If you find a project where it is not possible to download the project file itself, it is because it has been marked as confidential by the student.

We can help you upload a customised version of your project. However, this requires approval from the study board to which the project belongs. Contact the relevant study board and send the revised project and the study board's approval to vbn@aub.aau.dk.

There could be several reasons for this:

• The project is marked as confidential when submitted
• The project has not been submitted correctly to Pure in connection with submission in Digital Exam
• The project is of an older date and was submitted before the programme in question started submitting projects digitally

Copyright belongs to the author(s) of the project.

The student(s) is/are the data controller for each project. It is the responsibility of the student(s) to ensure that a project does not:

• Contains material that violates copyright - e.g. images, tables, graphics, etc. for which there is no authorisation
• Contains sensitive personal data that may not be accessible according to GDPR legislation. GDPR legislation. This could be personal data about informants, CPR numbers, etc.
