Reporting officers - roles and tasks
The close collaboration between the VBN-team and the department's reporting officers is a prerequisite for correct research registration in Pure. It supports the visibility of research practice at AAU, and constitutes an important element of the quality control that takes place in connection with registration of publications and projects in particular, as it constitutes the general data foundation of the annual reporting to various management levels.
Aalborg University has appointed at least one reporting officer at each department. The reporting officers support the tasks of department research registration in Pure and dissemination of content from Pure in Aalborg University's Research Portal. All aspects of this are carried out in close contact with the VBN-team. As such, the reporting officer becomes an important figure in the collaboration between the individual researcher and the VBN-team.
If you have been appointed reporting officer at your department, you must contact the VBN-team at vbn@aub.aau.dk in order to get access rights to be able to access your department's content in Pure. We will, of course, be available for advice on how you carry out your registration tasks that are listed below.
