Interlibrary loan
If you need to borrow material that is not available in the library's collections, we may be able to obtain it from another library. It is called Interlibrary loan - a service that is free of charge for students and staff at AAU.
Usually it takes about one week to procure the material. A bit longer if the material is currently out from the other libraries.
It usually takes a couple of days to procure a journal article.
Remember to search Primo before you fill in the form. It is faster and more sensible to borrow from the library's own collections. If the material is out, and you are in a hurry, you can contact the staff and ask about the possibilities for procuring the material before your deadline.
Your Interlibrary loan
If you log in to Primo, you can see your Interlibrary loans on "My page / my loans". If you want to renew your Interlibrary loan, you can tick off the title and select "renew selected". If you want to renew a loan from a foreign library, please contact Interlibrary Loan via the link at the top.
We order material for you from another library and receive it as either original or photocopy.
