No online access

You have tried to log in with your AAU username to access library resources online. Unfortunately, you have been rejected and cannot gain access. Why is this happening?

The University Library's licence agreements between us and our vendors determine which users have access.

When you log in with your AAU-Username, the library's access control system then checks that a number of conditions apply:

  • You are either a permanent staff at AAU or a student, EVU student (further education) or single-course student
  • Your AAU-Username is active

If you are an affiliated staff or guest, you must explicitly meet the conditions for online access and have been granted rights by the Head of Department, Departmental Secretary or HR Manager.

If in doubt, please contact the library. We will check for you. Please note that it is not possible or permitted to circumvent or bend the terms of the licence agreements. In the worst case, this can have serious financial and access consequences for the University.
